Clutter is the physical manifestation of unmade decisions fueled by procrastination.

I’ve written a blog and produced a video about Marie Kondo’s techniques to declutter and simplify.  Not only our homes, our offices and our cars, but our also our minds and our lives.

Don’t you feel that the older you get, the fuller your disc space in your brain gets.  You forget things?  Ever wonder if your disc is full and certain thoughts must be deleted if you are going to make through the day remembering what is important.  Let some of the shit your storing up there go. 

Thank it for coming.  Teaching you.  And bid it farewell.  ESPECIALLY the shit that doesn’t serve your well-being.  Really.  You gotta let that shit go.

Have you ever been to the dump? 

So much garbage is disposed of every single day.  One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure.  So recycle.  Go through your closets and drawers and get rid of what you haven’t used in a year.  I know it still has the price tag on it.  Then take it to a consignment shop.  Just put it to use.  How would you feel if you were left in a drawer or closet unused and unwanted?

The amazing phenomenon that occurs once we start to unclutter our minds and surroundings is that you will feel how much better the chi, or energy flows. 

You feel invigorated.  Lighter.  Freer.

Make that commitment to declutter, for your well-being.  Hang on to only that which brings you joy. 

Before eliminating your clutter, be sure to acknowledge it for the joy it once brought you before letting it go.

There is even the possibility that the projects you’ve been putting off, procrastinating on,

might start to call you once your chi is flowing in a more positive state.  Try it.  What do you have to lose?
