To protect your energy…

It’s okay to cancel a commitment.

It’s okay to not answer a call.

It’s okay to change your mind.

It’s okay to want to be alone.

It’s okay to take a day off.

It’s okay to do nothing.

It’s okay to speak up.

It’s okay to let go.

What I love about these words is that it’s okay to set my boundaries and it’s okay to follow my intuition, those feelings that come from my gut, from my heart

…and not rationalized from my over-thinking brain.

I am worthy today to not put myself out there for everyone who needs me.  To put myself first.  When I can do that, then all the rest falls into place in a more meaningful and healthy way.

However, I do look at invitations, interactions and experiences today as non-coincidental.

That my Higher Power of my Own Understanding putting them on my plate.

Most times when I’m invited to an event and I really don’t want to, I go anyway because I feel there was a reason I was invited.  I’ve never been sorry I did.  And I’ve always walked away with something positive, a gift that I didn’t have when I arrived.

So, yes, set your boundaries but also look at life as a gift.
