Growth is uncomfortable because you’ve never been here before.

You’ve never seen this version of you.

So give yourself a little grace and

breathe through it.

Staying in your comfort zone doesn’t allow you much growth.  But it’s your safe place—your security blanket.  If you’re willing to accept and are comfortable in this place, that’s wonderful.  But if there are things you are not happy about…yourself, your job, your relationships, etc., etc.,…you will need to get out of your comfort zone in order to move forward.

But I’m scared.  I don’t know what to expect?  What if I fail?  What if I’m ridiculed?  What if?  Have we not all been there before?  Have we not all learned the necessary lessons so we can grow?

Just Do It…as Nike says.  You will be amazed at how your negative self-talk has paralyzed you.  You’ll be saying, “Hey, It wasn’t that bad.”  And even when your first efforts didn’t produce the outcome you had hoped for, know it is the outcome you need.  Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and try again.  You will be empowered just for trying.

At the end of the day, be super proud of yourself for trying to make a better life, a better you, knowing you did your best.  All great things start here.  You can do it!
