You do not have to be fearless. Doing it afraid is just as brave.
I believe getting out of our comfort zones
and doing it afraid is the bravest thing we can do.
That’s the only way we can achieve greatness. If we are content to keep things just as they are, right here, right now, then getting out of our comfort zones is not necessary. But unless you’re living in a bubble, not affected by the real world, event or people, I have my doubts that you will be able to accept things the way they are forever.
Getting out of our comfort zones is scary. Scary because we fear failure. We fear others will make fun of us for failing. We will not be good enough.
For whom? The fact that you tried, fell, got up, dusted yourself off, tried again and succeeded should make you feel pretty awesome.
Next!!! Getting out of your comfort zone gets easier and easier the more it is done. Those who don’t fail will never succeed.
One thing to remember is that it is better to live in faith than in fear.
If you believe that there is a Higher Power out there guiding you, protecting you, teaching you, you will have the confidence to grab the brass ring. If you are fearing something over which you have no control (i.e. people, places or things), let it go.
Accept and move forward. Get back in the moment. Breathe.
And be grateful.
